Bible Studies

Introductory Sentence: At BOLMLV, we believe the Bible is relevant to everyone, everywhere, at any time. With our Bible Studies, we aim to help God’s people connect God’s Word to their lives through weekly group discussions, links, tools, and lessons.

Our Belief:

We believe you can’t have a close relationship with someone you never talk to. God’s word—the Bible—is the primary way He speaks to us. Further, we believe if you want to know more about God and His promises granted to you freely through His Spirit, reading the Bible is your next step.

Our Commitment:

We are committed to creating and cultivating bible study groups that assist with discovering different skills and strategies on how to follow Jesus on a daily basis. Every Wednesday, join one of our Bible Study Groups:

  • Morning Bible Study: Every Wednesday, 10:15 AM

Our Morning Bible Study Classes are created to jumpstart your Wednesday Morning with wise discussions to get you through the latter half of the week!

Prayer Gatherings

Introductory Sentence: At BOLMLV, we encourage everyone to participate in the various patterns of prayer. We believe prayer is a communication system with God that is helpful for uplifting, encouraging, empowering, edifying, and more..

Our Belief:

We believe the Lord wants each person to be blessed by participating in active prayer (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Further, we believe prayer and intercession is the key to God’s battle plan for our lives and the lives of others (Colossians 1:24).

Our Commitment:

We are committed to dedicating times throughout the week to engage in active, corporate intercessory prayer. We invite you to participate in prayer with us, during the following times throughout the week:

  • Morning Prayer: Every Tuesday-Friday, 9AM
  • Wednesday Night Prayer: Every Wednesday, 7 PM
  • Friday Night Prayer, Every Friday, 7 PM
  • Sunday Worship Prayer: Every Sunday, 9:30AM

Our Recommendations:

There is power in seeking God’s face through active prayer (2 Chronicles 7:14). If you are unable join us for prayer throughout the week, we encourage you to utilize the following resources to deepen your prayer journey:

Intercession

In 1 Timothy 2:1-2, the Apostle Paul urges us, “that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.”

Intercession is also much more than that. Intercession is warfare — the key to God’s battle plan for our lives. But the battleground is not of this earth. Remember, the Bible says, “We are not fighting against humans. We are fighting against forces and authorities and against rulers of darkness and spiritual powers in the heavens above.” Intercession means to “fill up…[with] what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ” (Colossians 1:24).

“Evening, and morning, and at noon will I pray, and cry aloud; and he shall hear my voice.” -Psalm 55:17
